Kadamba has been associating with our farmers, since its early days for the sheer joy and love of working with the farming community. Our service area is more focused towards Uttara Kannada district. (Known as one of the bio-diversity hot spot zones of the world, which is located in between the Western Ghats of India).
By adopting, natural way of practices and organic farming, Kadamba decided to bring revolutionary changes in farming practices by educating our farmers for using natural or organic substitutes instead of other toxic chemicals. Kadamba has been focusing on producing high quality products which can meet all the international organic standards under the keen observation of our highly dedicated and experienced volunteer’s network.
We have introduced a unique methodology (Patented in USA) for soil health management, by using microbial consortia. It’s not a mixture of any foreign solution introduced to the soil, but a soil enricher which recreates its original natural strength and texture.
Some of our farmers do hesitate to adopt organic farming, assuming these practices could yield low productivity and also fear that market reach may not be favourable for such products. Kadamba, in its serious earnest is trying to address such issues as it dedicates its services to these poor and uninformed farmers. We have full faith on our concept as it guarantees uncompromising quality and sustained productivity along with proper marketing assistance.
The system of Agriculture or Horticulture in Uttara Kannada district is more or less natural. The farmers would not prefer any chemicals or pesticides, in their field unnecessarily. Moreover, they used to use, cow dung or natural/organic manures since from the ages.
Since long time, the farers of Uttara Kannada, are very well known for their deep knowledge of natural management of our soil as well as cropping pattern.
