Rubber is one of the major commercial, plantation crops in India. Kadamba has been involving itself for promoting rubber cultivation in Uttara Kannada districts as one of the cash crop in our region.
The seminar has been conducted by Kadamba Foundation, with the association of Indian Rubber Board, Kottayam.
Now, hundreds of farmers have started cultivating rubber in Uttara Kannada district. The rubber board also has taken initiatives for promoting rubber in this region.
Now rubber has become one of the considerable plantation crop in this region. Our progressive farmers have taken interest in the same.
Kadamba Foundation was coordinating in between farmers and rubber board since 2011.
