Rural Marketing Initiatives

Kadamba is committed to delivering end-to-end solutions for all its projects, with a strong focus on supporting rural entrepreneurs and farmers. Recognizing the need for better marketing support, Kadamba initiated the development of a comprehensive rural marketing network to bridge the gap between producers and markets.

Starting with a state-level marketing fair in Sirsi, Kadamba established the Kadamba Agro Producers Company and expanded its marketing network across rural cooperative societies. This network facilitates the direct purchase of agricultural products such as cocoa beans, coconuts, spices, and homemade goods, ensuring fair market access for rural producers.

Kadamba has also organized numerous training and awareness programs to equip rural entrepreneurs with skills in scientific product development, brand management, and marketing. Lac cultivation, in particular, has been promoted for its simplicity and profitability, with diverse applications in products like eyewear, textiles, and electronics.

In a ground-breaking initiative, farmers in Hunsuru and surrounding areas have voluntarily shifted from traditional tobacco farming to lac cultivation. Partnering with the Kisan Mitra Foundation, Kadamba organized a marketing event in Arasu Kallahalli, Hunsuru, inaugurated by Sri B.S. Yeddyurappa, where Kadamba purchased lac from local farmers, providing direct financial support and reinforcing its commitment to rural growth.
